Soccer drill procedure

This drill appears to be complicated. Once the sequence has been understood, the drill becomes more and more simpler. We recommend playing the first shot in slow motion. Besides passing, this drill trains the vertical, quick through ball. This does not mean that it is a tactical drill. Incorporation of tactical variants in modern pass training cannot be avoided at all. However, you are not the focus of the drills, but only an adjunct.


Form two groups; one of them is provided with balls. The pass is made from the group with the balls, exactly through the lane between two cone markers to the start player of the other group. The latter receives the ball at the right moment. The received ball is dribbled through the space enclosed by two cone markers. Watch the animation closely!
