Make sure to watch the video where we show a more difficult variation of this drill. This drill starts of fairly calmly, but this is just the beginning. Passes are made in four groups of three, where the passer always follows the ball after the pass. Keep increasing the pace and later, when a direct pass is possible, it should be carried out.
Mark out a rectangle with cones. There should be a square within the rectangle that is also marked by cones. The starting player passes to the next player at the square and then follows the pass. The receiver then passes to the next player at the rectangle and then takes the receiver’s position also. The whole process is repeated from the beginning.
- Shorter distances make the drill more intense
- The players who pass the ball into the center run round the inner cones before taking up their position.
