Soccer drill procedure

A position switch takes place from both exercise fields upon the coach’s command. The coach can also call two names, instead of the numbers used in our animation. You can keep giving both fields different tasks. Direct passes only, different dribbling techniques in the other field, juggling, or passing in a certain order. There are many possibilities.

Description

We will mark two rectangles; one group is positioned in each rectangle. The groups are equally strong, because the coach only calls one number. The players in both groups have been given numbers beforehand. On the one side of the field, players dribble freely throughout the space and on the other side, players pass the ball. The players, whose number is called, quickly change fields, whereby the dribbler leaves his ball so that the other player can take over. For bigger groups, add more balls to the passing field.

Variations

- Different dribbling techniques
- Incorporate turns and feints into the dribbling
- A pass can never be played to where it came from
- Direct passes only
- Always pass after two contacts with the ball
