Soccer drill procedure

This drill is an increase of the drill „Dribbling on Command“. The players shall react quickly, as soon as the coach commands a field change. Now, it is not enough just to concentrate on the movement, because suddenly there is the command of changing the field.


One rectangle is divided in four smaller rectangles, which are named by four numbers or letters. After command of the trainer the player start in the respective rectangle. The stay in the different fields should be longerin the beginning, but then more and more shortened. In the fields, the players have to fulfill certain demands.


Instruction examples:
- Only with the right foot
- Only with the left foot
- Trick
- Turn
- Right foot/left foot by turns
- Playing the ball with the sole of foot
- Backward
- Backward, only with the left foot
et cetera…

Field size: Depending on the total amount of players. Please limit the space with markings.
