We’ll start easy and progress from there, once we understand the sequence.
This turn is much more difficult if it is done at a fast pace, which is why it should not be underestimated. Doing the turn and pulling the ball towards you with the sole of your foot shouldn’t be a problem. The deciding moment will be the short kick on the ball, while at the same time pulling it back around the leg you’re standing on. During this phase, the ball must be well-controlled; only then is it possible to do the turn at speed.
The ball is pulled backwards around the leg you’re standing on and is then sent forwards with a small kick.
- Anyone who can do it with their “strong” foot should try it on the other side.
- Demand speed and momentum
- Correct errors individually
