Soccer drill procedure

A complex training unit for goal shooting practice with lots of movement and a difficult passing game at the end. We have shown the double-sided variation in the animation. The practice sequence can also be carried out on just one side. Once explained and demonstrated in slow motion, these drills can take up an entire practice session.

Description

Two staggered goals are set up on the practice field. An orientation field is marked on each side of the goals. The “blue” players in the animation are the passers for the shot on goal. The pass is made exactly into the path of the runner, who then takes a shot on goal. The shooters switch practice sides and the passers are swapped after a few cycles.

Variations

- Different goal shot and dribbling techniques

Soccer coach tips
