Soccer drill procedure

One player is center-stage, in our animation it is the red player. The motion sequences seem to be easy, but the difficulties lay in the various changes of direction and the different running directions. The aim of this drill, apart from ball control, exact passing and goal-kick, is to train the concentration in stressful situations.

Description

There are four teams, two start teams and one team each to the left and right of the field. The sequence starts with a start team. They dribble and try to score at the first cone. The players shall change constantly between the left and right start team and accordingly the foot changes when attacking. After attacking, the player is moving to the cone on the other side and gets a pass. The passing player circulates the cone in the middle and gets the ball for scoring. The start player then changes to the other side and repeats the sequence analogue. The players change afterwards clockwise.

Variations

- Reversed sequence
- The start player circulates the cone on the left and right side before passing the ball

Soccer coach tips
