Soccer drill procedure

Look at the ball in the top right-hand corner. It’s a sign to show that this drill can also be carried out with a ball.
The animation speaks for itself. Pay attention to the distances involved. They can be made shorter or longer according to players’ ability.

Description

From their groups, the player start moving towards the first cone. From there, they move into the slalom, where the players meet. They need to be especially careful here, and avoid running into each other. After the slalom, they run to the cone on the outer edge of the field, and from there they join the other group.

Variations

Between the cones:

-Sidesteps over the whole course
- Sidesteps –Change leading side once
- Sidesteps – Change leading side with each step
- Starting off: short, quick steps
- Simulated header
- Raise knees when running
- Bend knees fully backwards with each step
