Soccer drill procedure

Have you already recognized the drill’s progression? Both rows start dribbling the ball at the same time. Things get interesting when you use more than two balls; players have to be well organized.

Description

Mark two lanes, as shown in the animation. A row of players stands on each side. There are plenty of balls on the one side of the drill, as can be seen on the right of the animation. The starting players dribble through the lane. At the end of the path, the ball is passed to the other row, as can be seen in the animation. The players follow the balls and then join the teams on the other side. The receivers dribble through the lane to the opposite row.
At this point, pass the ball to the other row. This means that the drill be repeated continually.

Variations

- Different dribbling techniques
- Let the group start from each side of the lane

Soccer coach tips
