Now we have an attacker and two defenders on the practice field. As a consequence, the first defender can defend much more aggressively, since the second defender is securing the area behind him.
Now, a third group (without a ball) is added to the mix. These players stand as attackers a little bit away from the goal. In this third group, the first player immediately becomes a defender when the ball is passed from the group at the goal.
- The pass comes from the other side of the goal
- Allow direct shots
- Explain securing the back field and require this
- Demand feints!
- Quick shots on goal!
- Stop the one-on-one when they go over the allotted time
- The defender takes on the attackers direction of movement (moves backwards).
- The attacker carries his starting pace into his dribbling.
