This is really difficult! You can support communication between players during this drill by letting them solve problems on their own. The sequence is the same as in the previous drill; itβs just the distances between players that changes. Shoulder to shoulder would be ideal. It would be better to keep decreasing the distance though, so that players can get used to it. Things will get tight, very tight, and it will look comical.
The ball should be on the center position when the drill begins. The ball is first passed from the middle player to the outside position; after that, the middle position disappears. The passer follows the ball and runs around the receiver. The receiver passes the ball to the other side. The drill continues on like this. After every run, the players swap positions.
