Soccer training – Passing - Exercise:

Previous exercisePass-Stop/Overlapping 2Next exercise

Soccer drill procedure

Not much changes in this extended drill. An additional pair starts from the other side of the practice field. The players must now find space for the drill; keepings one’s bearings and running behind the ball is much more difficult now. It is possible to have more than one pair at each of the two starting positions, who then alternate constantly. Running behind the ball is taught in a playful manner.

Description

The players are hampered by the additional group that starts from the other side.
We already know this part:
The red player has a ball and passes it. Player “black” starts moving into the practice field and stops after receiving the ball. “Red” should now run behind “black” and then – after taking his new position – receive a pass. The player from the field also runs to the other side, so that the exercise can start over.

Variations

- Increase the distances

Soccer coach tips

- Correct errors individually
- Always train using both legs!
