Soccer training – Passing - Exercise:

Previous exerciseImaginary Rectangle 2Next exercise

Soccer drill procedure

The "imaginary rectangle" stays with us also in the next drill; only the running path changes. Running on the diagonals makes the drill somewhat more difficult, but that is also why we train. Moving can be done over the whole playing field, so that the individual groups then interfere with one another, which does not make the thing any easier.

Description

The players pass the ball to one another in an "imaginary rectangle". After passing, the passer runs through the gap between the two other players and is available again immediately. The lead person is completely optional.

Variations

- Different passing techniques
- Only direct passing!
- Take the ball with the left foot, pass with the right, and the reverse.
- Competition - Which group makes the most correct passes in a given time, or covers the longest distance on the soccer field?

Soccer coach tips

- Always train using both legs!
- Push for increased speed
