Soccer drill procedure

It’s over once the players have circled the practice field, because they turn off, which leads to them meeting in the middle; they therefore must be careful and players are forced to take their eyes off of the ball. To this, we’ll add a change of direction, of 45 or 180 degrees, depending on difficulty. Every soccer player can change direction, but the quality should differ greatly depending on ability and age. At the cones, feints, turns or just simple movements can be included.

Description

Please take the description of the drill’s set-up from the starting drill.

After feinting and dribbling around the start marker on the right-hand side, the player goes clockwise to the first cone. He changes directions by 45 degrees and dribbles at speed to the other side of the field. From there, he doubles back in front of the cone, before returning to the cone on the other side. This is followed by another change in direction, which leads the player back to the start group.

Variations

- Always train using both legs!

Soccer coach tips

- Demand a high speed for feints and turns
