Now each player within the circle has a ball and searches for his path through the jungle of other dribblers. Just like in the initial drill, the double pass should be played as a “hard pass“, the ball is not pushed.
The reception of the ball inside of the circle can occur in an “open stance”. It means, the ball is accepted in an open area of the field already. The ball is not dormant; the speed is increased as soon as the ball has been accepted.
In our animation, eight players are randomly dribbling inside of the circle and search for a game starting position at the circle’s edge. This is always followed by a double pass. The players within the circle should always dribble toward the circle’s center before searching for a new game starting position.
