Soccer drill procedure

The last intensive passing training drill requires the players to move almost at the same time. With a large field size, the distances which need to be run are very long. Take this into account when deciding how long the drill will last.

Description

The position of the middle player is no longer required. At the beginning of the drill, two players are positioned at an outer position, and the front player has the ball. The third participant in the drill waits for his turn on the other side of the field. The player with the ball starts dribbling into the middle, and from there, he passes to the other side. He follows the pass and goes to the outer position. The receiver of the pass starts dribbling into the middle, and passes from there. The drill continues like this.

Variations

- Different passing techniques
- No dribbling. Just one direct pass across the entire length of the field.

Soccer coach tips

- Always train on both legs!
- Cheer the players on and give them plenty of praise!
