Soccer drill procedure

A simple drill for basic passing training. This drill can also be used effectively as a warm-up drill before a match. This training unit also encourages “speaking” when playing soccer. A little extra communication practice for children’s training.

Description

The player with the ball calls out the name of a player before passing to them. After the pass, the player follows the pass to the position of the player who received it.

Variations

- Different passing techniques
- Combination with dribbling drills in a circle (click here)
- No calling out before passing – only use eye contact

Soccer coach tips

- Call out names clearly
- Encourage high speed!
- Always train on both legs!
