Soccer drill procedure
This drill works in a more comprehensive way with the addition of more mats. The players should react immediately to the instructor’s signal and accordingly dribble between the mats.
Only the players that would end up heading towards the mats by following the instruction should follow it, the other players should continue in the outer circle.
Freestyle dribbling around the cones, waiting for the instructor’s instruction. The instructor calls “left-right” or “right-left” and the players follow the given dribbling direction. Players should only follow the instruction if they are dribbling in the direction of the mats, otherwise they should remain within the circle of cones. Make sure that you view the animation; otherwise the drill will not work. The player dribbles through the mats adhering to the previously given direction.
