Soccer training – Goal shots - Exercise:

Soccer drill procedure

Have you already looked at the animation? It looks great, doesn’t it? The last drill in this sequence is really difficult. There are many ways for it to go wrong, which is why great concentration is needed; make your players aware of this. Two passes at the same time, against the flow of motion, and a fast pace to boot. It works, as practice has shown us, but the soccer coach should be patient. A fantastic group feeling once it has worked!

Description

Each player has a ball. The starting players dribble – as can be seen in the animation – towards one another. Then, a short pass is made to swap balls, before a shot is made on goal. The players then join the opposite group.

Variations

- Different goal shot and dribbling techniques

Soccer coach tips

- Always train using both legs!
