Soccer drill procedure

In soccer we require a good feel for the ball, but not only in the foot or the leg. A ”feel for the ball” means mastering and caressing the ball. Feel the ball also with your head and hands; it is your friend!

Nothing goes with brute strength and only those coaches who holistically impart the feel for the ball will develop good technicians. The players will be able to solve a situation because they can concentrate on an action without the need to mind the ball. Only those with a feel for the ball can achieve this!

Description

The players without partner kick the ball with the head straight up, traverse below the ball and catch it on the back with both hands. In the pair version, a player throws a ball, goes through below and catches it on the back.

Our puppets execute the sequence with a double header.

- Players should not head the ball too high.

A practice field for two pairs would actually suffice
